《腹腔镜外科杂志》于 2000年9月经国家新闻出版署和科技部批准，获国家正式刊号（CN37-1361/R，ISSN1009-6612），由山东大学主办，是全国唯一的腹腔镜专业刊物，也是中华医学会外科分会腹腔镜内镜外科学组的专业性期刊，中国科技核心期刊，双月刊，大16开，90页码，国内外公开发行，面向各大医院、医学院及图书馆邮发、自办发行2500本左右，本刊于2002年被评为第三届华东地区优秀期刊。并在2001年1月3日获得了广告经营许可证，许可证号：3700004000166。本刊坚持“双百”方针，立足临床，贯彻理论与实践，临床与科研，普及与提高的方针，实事求是，及时报道腹腔镜外科的新技术、新经验、新临床研究的论著，经验总结，病例分析，麻醉及护理等，推广腹腔镜外科的研究成果。本刊共发行29期，发表了900余篇稿件，主要栏目有述评、论著、综述、临床经理、病例报告等，每期均刊登全国知名腹腔镜专家的经验总结、专题讲座，并刊登了我国香港基督教联合医院郭宝贤博士的英文稿。文稿来自包括香港在内的31个省、自治区、直辖市。2001年度本刊被万方、cmcc、cbm等重要医学网站及数据库所引用，通过Inter网或联机光盘检索均可查阅，并被《中国核心期刊数据》收录。《腹腔镜外科杂志》编委来自国内外50余家大医院110余人，其中我国香港地区编委3人，台湾省1人，美国、日本各1人，均为国内外著名腹腔镜外科专家，顾问：黄志强、李兆亭，主编：姜希宏、寿楠海，副主编：刘国礼、郑民华、冯玉泉、徐大华、胡三元、张宝善、王秋生，其中刘国礼、郑民华为中华医学会外科分会腹腔镜内镜外科学组顾问、组长，编辑部主任：胡三元，特邀省内各市地腹腔镜杰出工作者43人作为特约编委。
